Landbank Assessments

Using the ALOWANCE GIS model, Grieve Strategic and our friends at RSK ADAS have developed an in depth GIS mapping landbank assessment process for organic material recycling to agricultural land.

This service has been provided to the water industry to enable the effective planning of biosolids recycling since 2007 and has become a key supporting service to their asset management business plans. The output including scenarios, underpinned by comprehensive data layering, fundamentally compares land availability with land requirements for sites and regions. This provides essential planning information including future scenarios and regional strategies and can be used to improve efficiency.
